Make Mine Local Fiber Arts Fashion Showcase 2009

Fall in New England… a cool breeze, colorful leaves, clam chowder, hot cider… and exciting new things are set in motion. Join us as we celebrate the people and businesses, talent and extent of the Boston area fiber community with a designer showcase and runway show.

Designs on the runway will be presented by Shannon Okey, recent Yarn Forward Magazine editor and author of http://knitgrrl.com, from submissions by creative people in the greater Boston area. She will also be discussing life as a designer and heading a panel about designing in the NewEngland with designers from the show.
